Thinking of transferring in to SPP?
You can transfer existing unlocked Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs), Registered Retirement Income Funds (RRIFs), Registered Pension Plans (RPPs), or Deferred Profit Sharing Plans (DPSPs) into your SPP account. Here’s why it might make sense for you:

How to transfer-in funds to SPP
Transferring funds is easy. If you're transferring from an unlocked RRSP or RRIF, just follow these few simples steps:
Download or request a copy of the transfer-in form via phone or email.
Complete Area 1 – Annuitant section of the transfer-in form (no other sections are required to be filled out by you).
Return the completed form to our office. Feel free to use our postage paid return address label.
If you're transferring from an RPP or DPSP, call us at 1-800-667-7153. We'll confirm if you can transfer the funds and help you get the process started.
Other ways to grow your SPP
Contributing to your SPP is convenient. You have the freedom to contribute as much as you choose (within your RRSP limits), whenever it works for you.
CONTRIBUTE THROUGH YOUR BANK
Simply set up your SPP as a payee in your bank account and you can easily contribute online or in person at your local branch.
